India Tower

India Tower

India Tower will be a timeless icon celebrating Mumbai’s status as a leading cultural and commercial centre. When complete it will be a landmark for the city and – at sevenhundred metres – the tallest tower in India and the second tallest in the world.

Developed by DB Group, the 130,000 square metre project comprises a five-star Park Hyatt Hotel, luxury residential accommodation and high end retail.

The elegant, tapered tower form has been designed to maximise permissible development, without compromising design quality. Entry will be through a park that continues underneath the tower – the building is raised to allow this, as well as to give every floor views of the Arabian Sea and downtown Mumbai. The hotel’s lobby is positioned high in the tower to make the most of the panoramic views.

Mumbai lies within the equatorial belt, just south of the Tropic of Cancer and has a hot, humid climate all year round. The tower will incorporate a wealth of sustainable features, including water management systems, cladding that is responsive to the climate and onsite renewable energy generation. The tower will target LEED Platinum.
